- The ‘KiiRaa - Apple iPod nano Giveaway’ is a contest (‘Contest’) aimed at encouraging
prospective users to experience KiiRaa and its features
- The contest period (‘Contest Period’) begins June 1st, 2009 – 9:00 am (PST).
The contest is divided into monthly contest cycles (‘Contest Cycle’) and a winner
will be drawn at the end of each cycle. Currently, 4 contest cycles are planned.
Contest cycle details:
- Contest cycle 1: June 1st, 2009 – June 30th, 2009 – Winner drawn
- Contest cycle 2: July 1st, 2009 – July 31st, 2009 – Winner drawn
- Contest cycle 3: August 1st, 2009 – August 31st, 2009 – Winner drawn
- Contest cycle 4: September 1st 2009 – September 30th, 2009 – Winner drawn
- Additional cycles may be introduced based on the response
- A winner will be drawn from all the eligible entries and will be published on http://www.KiiRaa.com
- The contest is sponsored by KiiRaa LLC (the ‘Sponsor’)

How to become an eligible entry? |
|
An eligible entry needs to meet the following criteria
|
- Is a legal resident of the 50 United Sates and District of Columbia
- Is 13 years of age or older. If you are under the age of 13, you must obtain permission
from your parent/guardian before entering
- Has successfully created a KiiRaa.com account and is a registered user (‘Registered
User’)
- Is considered an ‘Active Fan’
- An entry is considered an ‘Active Fan’ when,
- Regularly uses KiiRaa features (abusing KiiRaa features
will be tracked)
- Recommends and shares websites
- Suggests new websites
- Provides spam-free and insightful comments
- Provides quality feedback back to KiiRaa using the ‘feedback’ link
- Becomes a fan or follower on KiiRaa Facebook or
Twitter page
- Does not abuse KiiRaa features (e.g. randomly recommending sites, etc.)

Random Drawing |
|
Winner will be selected in a random drawing 1 week after every contest cycle from
among all eligible entries received by Sponsor or its designee, the judges in this
contest, whose decisions are final and binding. An entrant can win only once
|
|
|
|
|
Notifying the Winners |
- Winners will be notified by email on or about 3 days after every contest cycle.
If the winner does not respond to the notification within five (5) business days,
another winner will be chosen. Failure to respond within five (5) business days
shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize. Winner will be required to provide
a confirmed shipping address and a summary of the overall KiiRaa experience
- If you are a winner, you agree that the Sponsor may use your name and comments to
promote the Contest and to conduct media interviews and promotional events, unless
prohibited by law
- The prize winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility,
a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions, and/or liability/publicity release (except
where prohibited by law) and provide any additional information, that may be required
for the Sponsors to comply with applicable law. Failure or delay in giving such
requested information or approvals may result in disqualification
- Winners will be announced on http://www.KiiRaa.com
on or about 1 week after every contest cycle

Additional Terms and Conditions |
- All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply
- By entering the contest, you conclusively are deemed to have agreed to be bound
by these Official Rules, Privacy Policy
and Terms of Use. This is an irrevocable
condition of entry
- No purchase or payment of any consideration is necessary to enter the contest
- Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to alter any contest
rules at any time
- The competition is void where prohibited by applicable law
- No responsibility is accepted for ineligible or entries made fraudulently
- Any entry information becomes property of ‘Sponsor’ and is subject to the privacy
policy as posted at http://KiiRaa.com/privacy
- Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided
to the Sponsors, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported
for tax purposes as required by law. Winner is solely responsible for reporting
and paying any and all applicable taxes
- By entering, agree to release and hold harmless Contest Sponsor and (each of its/their)
parent(s), subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotional agencies,
wholesalers and retailers, and each of the foregoing entities’ employees, officers,
directors, shareholders and agents (collectively the ‘Released Parties’), from and
against any and all claims, actions and/or liability for any injuries or death,
loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in and/or
entry into the Contest or acceptance or use of any prize. The Released Parties are
not responsible or liable for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, and
assume no responsibility for (i) any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay
in operation or transmission at any web site, (ii) failure of any entry to be received
by Sponsors due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the
Internet or at any web site, (iii) communications line, hardware and/or software
failures, (iv) damage to any computer (software or hardware) resulting from participation
in the Contest, (v) theft or destruction of, tampering with, unauthorized access
to, or alteration of entries and/or entry information, or (vi) entries which are
late, lost, stolen, damaged, illegible, unintelligible and/or postage due (or any
combination thereof). Additional restrictions may apply
- The use of third-party software or web site or automated entry systems to become
an ‘Active Fans’ is prohibited, and Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify entries
made in such fashion
- Under no circumstances, will the Sponsor take responsibility of Prize if (i) arrived
in a damaged condition (ii) got lost in transit (iii) got stolen. Additional restrictions
apply
- Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify
the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned due to, for example, infection
by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures
of any sort. In no event will Sponsor be responsible for any damages or losses arising
out of access to and use of the web sites or the downloading from and or printing
material downloaded from said site. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete
or misdirected entries
